What attracted you to PEAL training?
So much wonderful work is being done in settings around the country
and I love the way that sharing this info motivates and inspires
practitioners.
What have you learned from the
sessions; anything that surprised you?
I love the way the sessions flow throughout the day, the carousel
always stands out for me as the one that challenges as well as
providing a space for practitioners to try a different approach. In
terms of surprises - you can never have enough reminders about
listening skills.
How do you think your previous
experiences help you to run PEAL sessions in your own particular
way?
My experience as a parent using formal childcare has really offered
me insight into the challenges faced by practitioners and I feel I
can empathise with them. I can give examples of not only how
I am super parent - but also when I can be a real pain!!!
