Wednesday 6th April 2011 – Central London

Sue Owen - director of Wellbeing at National Children's Bureau where PEAL is based, and Theme Lead and Theme Chair for Early Years at C4EO - is to chair Capita’s 4th National Early Years Conference.

The conference is taking place at a time of significant strategic change following the publication of the review into early years education and welfare, and the impact on the provision of care and learning for 0-5 year old children.

Drawing upon feedback from key organisations and expert practitioners, this event explores how national reforms can be implemented in a challenging economic environment.

Speakers Include:

Ann Gross - Director of Early Years, Extended Schools and Special Needs Group, Department for Education

Thom Crabbe - National Manager, Early Years and Disability, Children’s Workforce Development Council

Melanie Pilcher - Policy and Standards Manager, Pre-school Learning Alliance

Elizabeth Elsom - Divisional Manager, Children’s Policy and Framework,
Ofsted

Jenny Spratt - Head of Early Years and Childcare Services, Peterborough City Council

Daniel Ayeni - Children's Centre and Extended Services Manager, Manor Park Children's Centre
