Raising Early Achievement in Literacy (REAL): free conference

The Early Childhood Unit (ECU) is working with Professor Cathy Nutbrown at the University of Sheffield on a lottery funded REAL project in Sheffield and Oldham. This free conference, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), will revisit the findings of research, feature REAL family literacy work currently being carried out in children’s centres, and launch a new ESRC-funded programme which offers the opportunity for some practitioners to participate in a year-long research project.
