This event brings
together local authorities across England to share effective
practice in listening to young children. The day will include
presentations, opportunities to network and workshops on current
topics.
Who is it for?
The networking day is open
to all who took part in the YCVN pilot project and to settings,
organisations and local authorities that would like to join the
national network. This event will be of particular interest to
early years practitioners, managers, advisers and participation
officers.

These events are part of the Young Children’s Voices Network
(YCVN), a national project promoting listening within in the early
years. The network supports local authorities in developing good
practice in listening to young children so that young children’s
views may inform policy and improve early childhood services. The
project is funded by the Department for Children, Schools and
Families and run by the Early Childhood Unit, NCB.
